Job summary

Westmor Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Paint Prep Technician to support our night shift production team in Morris, MN. You will ensure high-quality finishes and maintain efficient paint operations, preparing surfaces, applying primers, and documenting measurements.

The role requires careful attention to specifications, reliable attendance, and teamwork. Night shift offers a $3 per hour differential with a 4:30pm–5:00am schedule, Mon–Thu, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Able to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Willingness to work night shift and follow detailed procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sand surfaces using an air sander.
• Apply sand poly and primer.
• Verify removal of spatter and slag.
• Apply filler to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish.
• Measure pre- and post-sand dry mill thickness.
• Record measurements using proper devices.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Perform daily maintenance on paint prep equipment.
• Clean paint booths and lights; change filters as needed.
