Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or experience in electronics, optics, fiber optics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with precision assembly, soldering, fiber splicing, or electro-optical component assembly.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small, precision components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed are essential functions of this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fiber-optical and mechanical subassemblies following engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Perform optical fiber preparation, fiber splicing, and related assembly tasks.
• Conduct incoming inspection of components and materials to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Perform basic functional testing and inspection of completed assemblies.
• Document assembly, inspection, and test results in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production and continuous process improvements.
• Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed are essential functions of this position.
