Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a detail-oriented Feed Mill Receiving Operator to ensure timely and safe unloading of bulk ingredients, sampling and labeling, and inventory control. You will help maintain a clean receiving area and support safe production in a high-demand feed mill environment.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced facility, with regular day shifts and mandatory use of PPE. Prior forklift experience is beneficial for handling daily material movements.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and math skills required.
• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks by weighing in and out after unloading.
• Record material receipts and label samples.
• Inspect incoming loads to meet company standards and assist unloading.
• Perform inventory checks of raw materials.
• Direct materials to correct bins or tanks.
• Maintain clean receiving area to prevent contamination.
• Assist with mill housekeeping as needed.
• Operate rail car pullers safely.
• Assist with loading feeds and manufacturing when needed.
