Perdue Farms in Chehalis, WA is seeking a Feed Mill Receiving Operator to unload bulk, liquid, and micro ingredients from trucks and rail cars, sample and verify materials, and maintain a clean, safe receiving area.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and math skills are required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical background is a plus.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Unload bulk, liquid, and micro ingredients from trucks and rail cars.
• Weigh in and weigh out loads, and record receiving with proper labeling.
• Inspect incoming loads to ensure company standards; use a 15 lb sledgehammer to remove ingredients when needed.
• Perform inventory checks on raw material bins and report to supervisor.
• Direct raw materials to correct bins/tanks as assigned.
• Sweep and shovel receiving area to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.
• Assist with mill housekeeping and loading feed trucks or manufacturing when required.
