Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Fabrication Technician/Saw Operator on 1st shift with an hourly rate of $20.95. You will follow safety guidelines, operate and maintain fabrication equipment, and cut foam plates to specified dimensions.

Candidates should be able to multitask, lift up to 50 lbs, pass the PIT course, and have a high school diploma or GED. Forklift certification is a plus, and overtime may be required during peak production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of PC usage and basic data entry operations.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Must pass PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) course and receive certificate.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and be a fully empowered team member to achieve zero incidents.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment in the assigned work area.
• Cut foam plates into specified dimensions.
• Accurately key data into a computer and transact with scan guns.
• Daily cycle counts of all plates on production floor and maintain paperwork accuracy.
