Job summary

Zeus Industrial Products in Orangeburg, SC, is seeking a Steamliner NG Operator to join our extrusion manufacturing team. The role focuses on machine operation, troubleshooting, documentation, and ensuring product quality.

You will install tooling, load and monitor the extruder, produce resin pre-forms, and maintain wall thickness, while following safety rules and reporting data using various software packages.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and adapt to different situations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform other physical tasks.
• Must be able to read and write legibly; basic math skills required.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential to meet production objectives.
• Must meet WorkKeys/WIN requirements (Reading Level 3, Math Level 4).

Responsibilities

• Install tooling, load, run and monitor extruder with minimum downtime.
• Make pre-forms out of resin as specified on order card.
• Measure and maintain correct wall thickness of tubing.
• Operator only runs one machine.
• Keep tooling and machines in good working condition.
• Polish and straighten tooling on lathe.
• Keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain good communications within the department.
