Job summary

Zeus Industrial Products, headquartered in Orangeburg, South Carolina, is seeking a Secondary Operator to perform a secondary operation on tubing, including cutting, inspecting, bagging and tagging tubing for quality control. The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, standing for extended periods, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions while adhering to safety guidelines.

You will also be expected to run setups, recoil tubing, and support continuous improvement in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and adapt to different situations.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.
• Capability to perform inspection functions, visually and dimensionally.
• Standing for sustained periods.

Responsibilities

• Cut tubing to close tolerance lengths using puller and cutting machine.
• Recoil and spool tubing.
• Check tubing visually and dimensionally.
• Ability to change set-ups.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area and observe safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
