Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and adapt to different situations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and push/pull ~11 lbs; navigate stairs.
• Ability to inspect products for cosmetic defects and color differentiation.
• Solid basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals; read and write legibly.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential for meeting production goals.
• Physical demands are described in the HR analysis.

Responsibilities

• Install tooling, load, run and monitor extruder with minimal downtime.
• Produce pre-forms from resin as specified.
• Measure and maintain wall thickness of tubing.
• Operate a single machine.
• Maintain tooling and machines in good condition.
• Polish and straighten tooling on lathe.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate within the department effectively.
