Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting prints, drawings and checklists to guide repairs.
• Ability to operate precision measuring tools and document results.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and safety procedures.
• Owns SAE hand tools and a roll-around toolbox for on-site work.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and assemble rotating equipment and related components.
• Inspect components for wear, document condition, and report to leads.
• Use balance machines and precision tools to verify tolerances.
• Operate torches and nitrogen safely during assembly.
• Photograph and record DCI/assembly steps per checklists.
• Prepare equipment for shipment and assist with tagging and painting as needed.
• Coordinate with service coordinators, planners and customers on status.
