Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician in Pasadena to assemble electronic components and subassemblies, read schematics, and perform soldering and testing. You will work with engineering, quality and production teams to resolve issues and ensure quality while maintaining records and safe procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced production setting, and the use of hand tools and testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electronics assembly or related technical field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Experience with soldering, hand tools, and electronic testing equipment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, cables, and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform soldering and desoldering of electronic components as needed.
• Conduct functional testing, inspections, and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose assembly or equipment issues and perform basic repairs.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety procedures to protect sensitive electronic components.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards.
• Assist with inventory management, material handling, and cycle counts as needed.
