Methode Electronics is seeking an assembler to read work orders, assemble components by hand or with small hand tools, and perform soldering as required. The role emphasizes precision testing to meet specifications and independent work habits.

The position involves consistent quality checks, maintaining clean work areas, and adherence to safety rules. Training is available for soldering as needed, with opportunities to contribute to a manufacturing team.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2+ years of assembly experience.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work independently.
• 80% of this job will be soldering, prior knowledge or ability to learn required.

Mansioni

• Read work orders to assemble components by hand or by using small hand operated equipment, which includes soldering.
• Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
• Maintain neat and orderly work areas and comply with all safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
