Kelly Services is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician I for onsite work in Schaumburg, IL. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The position is a Temp‑to‑Hire assignment with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, located at Motorola Solutions, Inc. in Schaumburg.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, electronics production, inspection, or related environment.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work with small components and precision tools.
• Basic ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass a hands-on soldering assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic products and PCBAs following work instructions and engineering documentation.
• Perform soldering, desoldering, rework, touch-up, and repair activities.
• Inspect electronic assemblies and components for workmanship and quality defects.
• Utilize soldering irons, hot-air rework stations, microscopes, hand tools, and other production equipment.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, schematics, and manufacturing instructions.
• Identify and troubleshoot common assembly and workmanship issues.
• Follow IPC standards, ESD requirements, and quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement, quality, and production initiatives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to meet production goals.
