Job summary

Teledyne Micropac in Garland, TX is seeking an experienced assembler to perform a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on product components and sub-assemblies for high-reliability applications.

You will read drawings, BOMs and work instructions, assemble with solder under microscopes, and participate in quality checks across the manufacturing process. Overtime may be required with notice; a strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Excellent manual dexterity and precision.
• Experience with small parts, tools, and precision instruments.
• Ability to read engineer drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality mindset.
• Knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Read production drawings and work instructions for high-reliability applications.
• Read BOMs and assembly drawings, completing required paperwork.
• Perform hand assembly of electronics with solder under microscopes.
• Conduct quality checks throughout manufacturing.
• Collaborate with teammates, QC, and process engineers to meet specifications.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; assist with training as needed.
• Overtime may be required with advance notice.
