Job summary

Teledyne Micropac in Garland, TX is seeking an Assembler to perform a wide range of electronic and mechanical assembly operations on satellites, medical and defense/aerospace components. You will follow drawings, apply workmanship standards and use microscopes to assemble small parts with solder, epoxy and wire bonding.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity and manufacturing knowledge.
• Ability to read engineer drawings and bills of materials.
• Attention to detail with precision and accuracy.
• FOD control knowledge.
• HS diploma and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow production drawings, procedures and work instructions with established workmanship practices.
• Operate and set up manual wire bonding equipment for thermosonic and aluminum bonding.
• Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with teammates, quality control and process engineers to ensure specs.
• Inspect completed work to quality requirements.
• Assist training and perform production assembler duties as directed.
• Delicate hand assembly under microscopes using solder, epoxy and wire bonding.
