Job summary

Aerotek is hiring Production Assemblers in Shakopee, MN for 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM). You will build and test electrical and mechanical products in a clean, structured environment, with cross-training across mechanical, electronic, testing, and finishing departments.

The role emphasizes PCB assembly, soldering, tooling use, and strict attention to quality while adhering to safety procedures. This position is contract-to-hire with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of production/manufacturing/assembly experience.
• Experience using small hand tools and torque wrenches.
• Wiring and/or hand soldering experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with PCBs or electronic assemblies preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components into finished products.
• Work with small parts using hand and power tools.
• Perform wiring and hand soldering as required.
• Assemble PCBs and other small electronic components.
• Use microscopes for detailed assembly and inspection.
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and procedures.
• Conduct electronic testing and quality inspections.
