Aerotek is hiring a Small Parts Assembler for a 1st shift in Westlake, OH. You will assemble small electronic components and devices using detailed work instructions, hand tools, and blueprints, with strict quality checks before packaging.

The role requires handling delicate parts, precision in tape application, and circuit board assembly, with a day shift from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm on an onsite production line. This contract-to-hire position offers competitive pay and benefits potential.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling small parts in production/manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical assembly and circuit boards.
• Ability to use tweezers, staplers, and basic tools precisely.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and drawings.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Reliable with strong attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small electronic components per work orders, blueprints and drawings.
• Place conductive tape on battery contacts with precision.
• Attach batteries onto circuit boards with secure placement.
• Seal assemblies and verify quality, perform QC checks.
• Scan 2D barcodes to track components and records.
• Verify foil pouch labels and IDs match circuit IDs.
• Attach top/bottom covers and seal perimeter.
• Turn circuits off at appropriate stage for safety.
• Perform final inspections and quality determinations.
