Job summary

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has a Manufacturing Technician opening in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assemble electronic components from drawings, schematics, and technical manuals at our Pittsburgh location.

We design and manufacture custom inductive components for diverse industries and offer opportunities to work across multiple sites; IPC certification is preferred and attention to detail is essential for assembly and testing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Automation Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Candidates should have soldering and braising experience.
• IPC certification is desired.
• Candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals and demonstrate strong attention to detail when assembling and testing electronic components.

• Repairing or replacing defective components.
• Applying insulation.

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Manufacturing Technician at its location in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will be responsible for assembling small to large electronic components from drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries including renewable energy, solar, medical, aerospace, automotive, and military. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, McKinney, TX, in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.
