Job summary

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, is seeking a Production Assembler for its McKinney, TX location. You will assemble small and large-volume electronic components using drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include winding magnet wire, applying solder, repairing defective parts, and testing components. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with no prior experience necessary; strong manual dexterity is preferred for

Job description

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Production Assembler based in McKinney, TX. This position is responsible for assembling small electronic components using drawings, schematics, work instructions, specification sheets, and manuals.

Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries including renewable energy, solar, medical, aerospace, automotive, and military. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, and McKinney, TX in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.

Primary responsibilities include assembling small and large volume production of electronic components, winding magnet wire onto plastic bobbins, applying solder to terminals and wires, repairing or replacing defective components, applying insulation and connecting wiring, verifying materials and requirements, and testing electrical components.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience is not required. A demonstrated aptitude and interest in practical, hands-on work are beneficial, and strong manual dexterity is required.
