Job summary

You will inspect electromechanical equipment, disassemble unserviceable units, rewind windings for single-phase, three-phase, DC fields, armatures, and transformers, and retest for proper output.

Qualifications

• Essential experience: You must have prior electric motor winding experience.
• Inspect diverse electromechanical equipment to pinpoint electrical faults and damage.
• Disassemble and strip unserviceable units; prepare every reusable part for rewinding and check renewed components for hidden or structural problems.
• Rewind it right: single‑phase, three‑phase, DC fields, armatures, wound rotors, and transformers — always applying the correct insulating techniques.
• Validate your work by testing windings to EASA AR100, then reassemble and retest to confirm proper output and operation.
• Document precisely: complete all required paperwork accurately and on time for each job.
• Follow all safety protocols; wear proper PPE — especially eye and ear protection.
• Keep your work area clean and orderly as directed by your supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Move and position heavy components with cranes and forklifts safely.
