Job summary

Adecco in Export, PA is seeking full-time electromechanical assembly technicians for a temporary-to-permanent role at a scientific manufacturing facility. You will assemble laboratory and specimen preparation products from drawings and procedures, using hand tools, test equipment, and jigs, with attention to tight tolerances.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with starting pay of $20–$24 per hour depending on experience; benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401K options.

Qualifications

• Tech school certificate or assembly experience in a tech manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of vacuum systems and vacuum components is a plus.
• Basic computer understanding including MS Office and ability to learn additional tools.
• Above average math skills and ability to measure precisely.
• Ability to think methodically, prioritize, and follow up on multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or on a small team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products from drawings, schematics, sketches, wiring diagrams, procedures, and verbal and written instructions.
• Use hand tools, electrical and mechanical test/repair equipment, as well as specialty tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Work to extreme tolerances and small-scale components.
• Perform soldering and vacuum assembly.
• Inspect and test assemblies.
• Document all assembly work performed.
