Job summary

E.A. Fischione Instruments, Inc. in Export, PA is seeking a full-time electromechanical assembly technician. You will assemble and calibrate high-tech microscopy and nanotech prep equipment, following drawings and procedures with extreme precision.

You will troubleshoot, prototyping, and support engineering while documenting processes, conducting tests, and ensuring quality in a cleanroom environment as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (EET/MET) or 4 years electromechanical experience, plus assembly work in tech manufacturing.
• Vacuum systems, vacuum components, helium leak testing, and compressed gas handling a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office) and ability to learn new tools.
• Strong math skills and precise measurement ability.
• Methodical thinking, multi-task prioritization and follow-up.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in small teams.
• Experience troubleshooting assemblies for rework/repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products from drawings and instructions with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Support manufacturing, service, and engineering with prototyping and first-run products.
• Use hand tools, test equipment, and fixtures; calibrate as needed.
• Document processes and train personnel on manufacturing steps.
• Inspect and test assemblies and record data.
• Recommend engineering changes based on observations.
