Qualifications

• Read, understand, and follow guidelines such as job expectations; M.P.s, S.P.s, bill of materials, SDS and blueprints when performing work.
• Maintain required clearances and dimensions for voltage classifications specified.
• Setup and layout materials and tools for all assembly operations.
• Prepare insulation, blocking, clamping, and banding to conform to requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments and instructions from supervisor—oral and written.
• Select proper materials and parts for assembly operations.
• Set up stacking tables, stacking fixtures, and assemble core laminations.
• Land coils on stacked cores and wire controls per design specifications.
• Crimp and braze mag wire, cable and bus.
• Operate hand and air tools and related equipment.
• Maintain safety policies and participate in zero-harm safety initiatives.
