Job summary

The role requires either a technical Electro-Mechanical Tech degree or a HS diploma with related experience; teamwork and independent work are essential, with basic math and hand-tool proficiency necessary.

Qualifications

• Technical degree preferred in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field; one year experience acceptable with HS diploma.
• Ability to assemble mechanical and electrical components according to prints and sketches.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Have appropriate hand tools and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze assembly and electrical prints to plan machine-building operations.
• Fit and assemble components according to specifications and verify conformance.
• Assemble, set up, and operate machines to verify functioning and capabilities.
• May form and fasten pneumatic and hydraulic lines, fixtures, and attachments.
• May install wiring and electrical components, and panel building to specs.
• May debug assemblies and machines by identifying and correcting problems.
• Communicate build issues and documentation with project team.
