Job summary

Prolec GE Waukesha is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a 25-person manufacturing team that supports engineered-to-order transformer production. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while interpreting drawings and coordinating machine setups.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement focus in a highly technical manufacturing environment. The position is full-time and on site in Goldsboro, NC.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field and 2–3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and support multiple processes across a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of approximately 25 manufacturing employees to achieve production, quality, safety, and company objectives.
• Assign and coordinate daily work activities; assist with interpreting assembly drawings and machine setups.
• Foster and promote a strong Zero Harm safety culture throughout the department.
• Establish and maintain workmanship and quality standards; investigate and correct nonconformances.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering to improve processes, layouts, and efficiency; reduce costs.
• Support workforce planning, labor forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
