Job summary

Gexpro Services is seeking an Assembly Technician I in Charlotte, NC. The role involves learning production and assembly, reading blueprints and BOMs, performing basic soldering and testing, and ensuring quality while following all safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has high school or GED, experience in a factory setting, and good hand-eye coordination to assemble small parts. Strong commitment to quality and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prior assembly or factory experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and build instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn all production and assembly steps.
• Read BOMs and work instructions to complete work orders.
• Follow procedures for assembly, soldering, welding, machining and testing.
• Test units to ensure proper function.
• Record test results and inspections accurately.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on assemblies.
• Assist with packaging and other duties as needed.
• Complete work orders promptly and support teammates.
