Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Cary, IL. The role involves assembling small electro-mechanical components using hand tools and following detailed instructions, with a schedule from 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience reading blueprints, assembly drawings, and technical documents. Safety, quality, and productivity are emphasized in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small electro-mechanical components and products according to established procedures.
• Use basic hand tools such as pliers, wire strippers, and other simple assembly tools.
• Follow written work instructions, diagrams, procedures, and verbal directions.
• Strip, connect, bend, cut, or otherwise work with wires and small components as required.
• Assemble tubing, fittings, wires, and other components into finished assemblies.
• Properly identify and install the correct component in the correct location.
• Perform repetitive assembly operations while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Inspect completed work for defects, incorrect assembly, missing components, or other quality issues.
