Actalent is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician for a 100% onsite role in SPRINGFIELD, VA. You will assemble, wire, and test electronic boards and electro-mechanical systems, interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams, with a focus on quality and safety.

The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, collaboration with engineers and operations, and contributing to process improvements in a production environment using standard tools and testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree or technical certification in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for assembly tasks.
• Experience with basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in a production/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and test electronic boards, systems and cabling.
• Follow procedures to ensure safety and quality.
• Use tools to assemble and secure components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical issues.
• Perform functional tests to verify performance and reliability.
• Document assembly work and changes accurately.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to meet production goals.
