Job summary

Chase Technical Staffing is seeking dependable Electrical Switchgear Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble low- and medium-voltage switchgear cabinets according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and electrical schematics, building modular steel cabinets and copper busbar assemblies, and ensuring safe,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing experience considered.
Experience in electrical or switchgear assembly preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Attention to safety procedures and PPE.

Responsibilities

Assemble LV/MV switchgear cabinets per drawings and specs.
Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure correct assembly.
Build modular steel cabinets and copper busbar assemblies.
Measure, align, and secure components per engineering specs.
Operate hand and power tools safely; follow procedures and QC docs.
Inspect assemblies for proper alignment and quality; maintain clean workspace.
Collaborate with team to meet production goals; maintain attendance and throughput.
