Job summary

nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Material Handler in Solon, OH to support production by moving materials, stocking the supermarket, and delivering to shipping. You will assist with material prep, packaging, and verification of availability, while complying with safety and environmental standards.

The role requires high school or GED and familiarity with warehouse equipment, tools, and basic math. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities to grow in a global electrical solutions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in material handling and light industrial environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of basic math and inventory processes.
• Experience using hand and power tools is a plus.
• Capable of operating warehouse equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from work cells and manufacturing areas.
• Fill requisitions for materials and distribute items to departments.
• Assist with preparation of material, labeling, and unpacking.
• Assess material availability and flag outages to supervisors.
• Prepare finished goods for shipment and packaging.
• Receive, store, pick, and distribute materials in distribution centers.
• Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes or other equipment with required certification.
• Maintain safety rules and environmental compliance.
