Job summary

People First Recruitment seeks multiple Precision EDM Technicians to set up and run EDM equipment in a high-throughput precision environment in Ogden, UT. You will program, set up, and operate EDM sinker, wire, or popper machines, and verify parts against prints and tolerances.

Candidates should have 2–5 years EDM experience, GD&T proficiency, blueprint interpretation, and familiarity with Siemens CNC controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years with wire or sinker EDMs; GD&T experience required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specs.
• Familiarity with Siemens CNC controls preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run EDM jobs; verify against prints and manufacturing standards.
• Visually inspect parts for burrs/surface damage and document results.
• Maintain TPM and sustain a clean, organized 6S area; support grind ops as needed.
• Communicate status at shift changes.
