Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions seeks an Assembly Technician to assemble, install, and prepare high‑quality building components at our Phoenix facility. You will work hands-on with hardware, doors, and related assemblies in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using hand tools, and maintaining safety and quality standards while supporting production goals. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Silver Certificate required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in installation, production, or related field is desired.
• Experience in metal fabrication or commercial construction work preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and use hand tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and prepare high‑quality building components.
• Handle hardware, machining doors, and prepare Rite Door Assemblies for shipment.
• Package and prepare Rite Slide Assemblies for shipment and perform door machining as needed.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials and maintain organized storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures; maintain equipment.
