Qualifications

• 1+ year of dimensional inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T symbols and tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail with objective accept/reject decision‑making.
• Comfort using digital systems for data entry and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process dimensional checks at defined manufacturing stages per the inspection plan.
• Execute final dimensional, visual, cosmetic, and functional inspections on completed parts.
• Verify parts against engineering drawings and customer specifications using GD&T.
• Use precision tools and CMM to confirm complex geometries and GD&T callouts.
• Conduct load testing on structural assemblies per program procedures when assigned.
• Accurately capture and store measurements in electronic quality/inspection systems.
• Complete First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements when needed.
• Identify and document nonconformances through the NCR process; make clear accept/reject calls.
