Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior experience required.
• Must read and understand blueprint specifications with on the job training.
• Must have basic HS level math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Able to use small, fine tools and read measurements.
• Must read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• HAS diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates with relevant experience considered.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have solid job history.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Measure parts and visually inspect castings for defects and mark accordingly.
• Inspect corrective welds, blends, and alterations to ensure dimensional compliance.
• Place castings in fixtures to prepare for finishing CNC machining.
• Inspect and approve in-process and final dimensional specifications.
