Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a responsible Final Inspector for a 1st shift, full-time Temp-to-Hire position. The role requires 3+ years of aerospace inspection experience and proficiency with PC-DMIS is preferred.

The inspector will conduct first piece inspections, interpret blueprints, and use precision measuring equipment including CMMs, optical comparators, and micrometers. Strong math, record-keeping, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inspection of complex aerospace parts.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, blueprints, and operation sheets.
• PC-DMIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first piece inspections as required.
• Plan and perform inspections to check dimensions and dimensional relationships on run parts, gauges, tools and fixtures.
• Verify correct operation sheet is being used and confirm it meets blueprint requirements.
• Use CMMs, optical comparators, sine plates, indicators, micrometers, V-Blocks, verniers, parallels, height stands, and cadillacs.
• Return part to operator and ensure proper gauging and inspection equipment.
• Complete paperwork and documentation of dimensions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
