Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Dimensional Calibration Technician – Level 2 for our Promontory, UT team. The role focuses on calibrating a wide range of measurement equipment, supporting field and laboratory operations, and ensuring ISO 17025 compliance.

The position follows a 4/10 schedule with start times around 5:30–6:00 AM, on-site only. Qualifications include a high school diploma plus 2 years of related education/experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Extensive experience using measuring equipment and metrology tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate dimensional test and measuring equipment to conform to established standards.
• Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, force, and pressure type instruments.
• Set up calibration sequences and procedures according to specifications and drawings.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with SPC and control procedures.
