Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Promontory, UT is seeking a Dimensional Calibration Technician – Level 2 to calibrate, test, and maintain a wide range of measurement equipment for field and lab operations.

This on-site role follows a 4/10 schedule with Fridays off and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to obtain a U.S. government Secret clearance. You will work with mentors to meet customer turnaround commitments and ISO 17025 requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with additional related training or experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• Experience with measuring equipment and dimensional calibration.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate dimensional test and measuring equipment to established standards.
• Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, force, and pressure-type instruments.
• Set up calibration sequences per detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
• Disassemble and clean instruments to perform calibration and ensure traceability to standards.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with SPC and control procedures.
