Job summary

Ormco is seeking a Production Technician to set up and operate automated and semi-automatic machinery in a continuous production environment. You will monitor gauges, temperatures, and pressures, and ensure strict adherence to process specifications.

Responsibilities include following engineering drawings and SOPs, installing and repairing equipment, and performing calibration and testing of circuits and assemblies. Teamwork, organization, and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have the ability to work well with others and in a team environment.
• Applicant must have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work by dates.
• Applicant must pay close attention to details and be able to sort work by department and appliance group.
• Applicant must have the ability to read and interpret RX’s, TSI’s, Work order notes, and other DHR documents in English
• Applicant must be able to use a computer to download, manipulate and store files

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure specifications are met.
• Follows SOPs, work orders, and drawings in the manufacturing process.
• Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment per documentation.
• Performs set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and electromechanical systems.
• Assembles mechanical units and electrical/electronic systems to form sub-assemblies or complete units.
