Job summary

Ormco Corporation in Sturtevant, Wisconsin is seeking a 1st shift Digital Technician to set up and operate automatic/semiautomatic machinery in a continuous production environment. You will monitor controls, read engineering drawings, and follow SOPs to ensure compliant manufacturing.

You will install, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits and assemblies, assemble sub-assemblies using hand tools, and support product assembly and process operations.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment.
• Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures and related controls.
• Follows drawings, SOPs, and other specifications in manufacturing.
• Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots and repairs machinery per documentation.
• Performs setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits and assemblies.
• Assembles mechanical units and sub-assemblies using hand tools and fixtures.
