Job summary

ATI is hiring a Trimmer Die Assembler at our Cudahy, Wisconsin facility. You will operate machines and use machining tools to grind and polish dies and trimmers used in our forgings, ensuring they meet quality and customer specifications.

This role follows a rotating 2-2-3 12-hour night shift from 5:00pm to 5:00am. A background in manufacturing and precision grinding, plus blueprint reading, helps you succeed in a safety-focused, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing environment experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of machine and/or precision grinding experience.
• Read Blueprints.
• Passing score in Aptitude/Accuplacer test.

Responsibilities

• Grinds impressions, polishes, blends welded or machined surfaces to required contour of the impression.
• Die and trimmer repair work consists of benching machined die surfaces, peening cracked impressions, blending, benching and polishing to put dies/trimmers in a serviceable condition
• Works with various tools to include gauges, templates and measuring instruments
• Sets tooling up to print
• Operates gantry and overhead cranes safely.
