ATI is hiring a Trimmer Die Assembler at our Cudahy, WI facility. The role involves operating machines to grind and polish dies and trimmers, restoring precision parts used in forgings.

You will learn our processes, adhere to safety standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications are met. The successful candidate has manufacturing experience, basic grinding skills and reads blueprints.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with hand tools and precision grinding is preferred.
• Accurate, detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Mechanical inclination and familiarity with die or trimmer components is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Grinds impressions, polishes and blends surfaces to match required contours.
• Uses grinding and polishing techniques per die room standards.
• Repairs dies/trimmers by benching, peening cracks, blending and polishing.
• Uses gauges, templates and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Sets tooling up to print and operates gantry/overhead cranes safely.
