Job summary

ATI in Cudahy, Wisconsin, is hiring a Trimmer Die Assembler. You will operate machines to grind, polish, and repair dies and trimmers used for our forgings, ensuring high precision and quality for customer specifications.

The role requires reading blueprints, handling measuring tools, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain product standards. Onsite, full-time position with safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing environment experience.
• Minimum 1 year of machine and/or precision grinding experience.
• Passing score in Aptitude/Accuplacer test.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift and overhead crane operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grinds impressions, polishes, blends welded or machined surfaces to required contour of the impression.
• Technique of grinding and polishing is performed to die room standards.
• Die and trimmer repair work consists of benching machined die surfaces, peening cracked impressions, blending, benching and polishing to put dies/trimmers in a serviceable condition.
• Works with various tools to include gauges, templates and measuring instruments.
• Sets tooling up to print.
• Operates gantry and overhead cranes safely.
