Job summary

Oetiker Group is seeking a Die Setter for our Michigan manufacturing facility. You will set up and change dies, run stamping operations, and ensure parts meet engineering specifications.

The role requires hands-on experience with die-setups, tooling changes, and quality checks using calipers and inspection data. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prefer minimum 3 years as a die setter in metal stamping.
• Experience with set-up, tooling changes, and quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate dies and machines; perform start/stop and tooling changes.
• Troubleshoot and repair Bihler, Lens, Finzer, BMS, Spako, and Ing Yu; pass FAIR.
• Operate overhead crane and manage tooling from Lean Lift.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers and Fastcheck; measure to print specs.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and ensure compliance with manuals.
