CTI Cutting Dies in Elmhurst, Illinois, seeks a skilled Die Maker for the second shift. You will fabricate, assemble, repair, and modify steel rule cutting dies and tooling, using Bobst machines and rule-bending systems.

Read blueprints/CAD drawings, ensure tight tolerances, and maintain quality throughout production. You will collaborate with CAD, Production, Customer Service, and Shipping to complete orders accurately and on time while upholding safety standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years die-making/die-cutting experience preferred.
• Technical or vocational training in die making is a plus.
• Able to read/interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specs; use measurement tools.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate, assemble, repair, and modify steel rule cutting dies and related tooling per customer specs.
• Operate manual and automated rule-bending equipment and related tooling.
• Read blueprints/CAD drawings; verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies before production.
• Perform quality inspections and rework as needed to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain shop-floor systems for job tracking, scanning, and time entry.
