Job summary

Pacific Rubber & Packing Inc. is seeking a full-time, on-site Deflash Technician in San Carlos, CA. You will carefully deflash rubber and rubber-to-metal parts, using hand tools and Dremel equipment to maintain critical dimensions and surface quality.

You will inspect components for defects, ensure customer-ready packaging, and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing, production, molding, assembly, or quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Carefully deflash molded rubber and rubber-to-metal components using hand tools and equipment.
• Preserve dimensions, sealing surfaces, and product integrity.
• Inspect finished components for cosmetic defects and dimensional accuracy.
• Use precision hand tools to perform detailed deflashing and finishing operations.
• Ensure finished goods are customer-ready, properly identified, and packaged to high standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to improve processes and support a culture of craftsmanship.
