Carefully deflash molded rubber and rubber-to-metal components using specialized hand tools and equipment, removing excess material while preserving critical dimensions, sealing surfaces, and product integrity.
Work around intricate edges, grooves, and precision features to ensure every component meets exact specifications and customer requirements.
Inspect finished components for cosmetic defects, flash, dimensional accuracy, and overall quality before they move to the next stage of production.
Use precision hand tools, Dremel equipment, scrapers, and other approved finishing tools to perform detailed deflashing and finishing operations.
Ensure finished goods are customer-ready, properly identified, traceable, and packaged to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to solve problems, improve processes, and support a culture of craftsmanship, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Carlos, California.
Shift - Monday through Friday / 3:30pm - 12:00am
This role involves working in a manufacturing environment and requires standing, performing repetitive hand movements, handling small precision components, and maintaining focus on detailed, quality-critical work throughout the shift.
This position is at ‑ will, meaning either you or Pacific Rubber & Packing may end employment at any time, with or without cause or notice, consistent with applicable law.
