Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. in Oregon is seeking a Cut Shop Technician to cut metal components to precise specifications, read CAD drawings, and support our fast-paced fabrication operations.

You will perform grinding and light welding, drill/tap holes per CAD requirements, and carry out general shop tasks while adhering to safety protocols in a heavy manufacturing setting. Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to use and read measuring tools accurately.
Ability to routinely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Commitment to wearing required PPE on the shop floor.
Strong layout and math skills.
Interpret weld symbols and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

Accurately perform metal cutting according to specifications and CAD drawings.
Read and interpret measuring tools such as tape measures.
Prepare materials through grinding and light welding work.
Drill, tap, and countersink holes based on CAD drawing requirements.
Perform general shop labor and mechanical assembly tasks.
Participate in all safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
