Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Laser Cutting Operator to join our Production Team in Oregon. You will safely operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce precision parts per drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements, supporting daily production goals with accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Shift options include four 10-hour days, a three-day weekend schedule, and a compressed week to reduce

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience operating CNC laser cutting in manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience with sheet metal/plate materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal and plate materials.
• Load and unload raw material and finished parts using appropriate handling equipment.
• Verify programs, tooling, and material type/thickness before running jobs.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust parameters to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, travelers, and work instructions.
• Ensure parts meet dimensional, cosmetic, and quality requirements.
• Maintain material traceability and minimize scrap.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality.
• Perform daily startup, shutdown and routine maintenance.
