Job summary

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills (Word & Excel) required.
• English in a technical environment required.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity required.
• Ability to read engineering prints and interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

• Support crystal rod fabrication per specifications and schedules.
• Block rods and select fixtures for polishing.
• Operate CNC optical grinding machines.
• Prepare polishing slurries and maintain laps.
• Set up and run overarm spindles; measure geometry.
• Inspect surface quality and verify tolerances.
• Follow detailed work instructions and read engineering blueprints.
