Job summary

You will read blueprints, select tooling, monitor quality, and maintain safety standards while collaborating with the manufacturing team to ensure on-time production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year related experience in CNC turning and grinding.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning and grinding machines to cut, shape, and form metal workpieces to precise specifications.
• Read blueprints, process sheets, and job orders to determine machining requirements, tolerances, and tooling instructions.
• Inspect first-run and subsequent parts using micrometers, dial gauges, calipers, and fixed gauges to ensure conformance.
• Maintain safety, quality standards, and documentation of production data.
