Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled brazing and soldering technician to join our production team. You will perform manual brazing and soldering on copper and aluminum parts used in heat exchangers, ensuring repeatable, spec‑compliant joints.

You will read blueprints, prepare joints, tune flame, and verify joints with visual, pressure, and leak tests, while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform brazing/soldering with proper filler technique.
• Maintain flame profile and heat input to prevent oxidation.
• Inspect joints visually and by pressure leak tests.

Responsibilities

• Stage and fit tubes, headers, and fittings per drawings and work orders.
• Braze/solder copper and aluminum parts using approved methods.
• Verify joints with leak tests and document outcomes.
• Maintain equipment and safety practices in hot-work environment.
• Train new team members and support Kaizen improvements.
